Matchbox
Took the Thunderbirds toy licence in January 1992 for the BBC2 revival and made the famous Tracy Island playset, die-cast, electronic craft and figures.
The Independent reported that the range reached shops in September 1992 and sold out by Christmas; Matchbox itself was taken over by Tyco of the US in October 1992. Packaging and toys carry 1992 Matchbox and ITC Entertainment marks.
