Collector’s notes
A good reference library is the collector’s best tool. Thunderbirds: The Vault includes photography of original 1960s merchandise, and The Gerry Anderson Memorabilia Guide (1994) is devoted to Anderson merchandise. Chris Bentley’s Complete Book of Thunderbirds is widely cited for the history of the toys, including the 1992 Matchbox range.
